April 11 to May 15
Registration, Cross-Country Team Formation, and Topic Selection
- Registration and Topic Launch: While students register, we will suggest some topics for the teams. These topics will come from companies, NGOs, and other partners and will reflect real poverty-related issues.
- Topic Selection and Team Recruitment: Teams will declare their topics—either proposed by themselves or by the organizers—with a brief introduction.
- Topic Confirmation: By May 15, all groups must confirm their final topic and team composition. Each group may have up to 5 members. Teams with members from at least two or more countries are encouraged.
April 24
Lectures on Poverty Alleviation
- Lectures with experts from China and Chile. All students are required to participate.
- If the lectures cannot be held simultaneously due to time zone differences, they will be recorded and made available.
May 8

Online Mentorship
- Questions from all teams will be collected and forwarded to the group of mentors.
- It will be possible to schedule online meetings with the mentors.
June 5
Project Submission
- Participating teams must submit a project report in PPT format and an introductory text with no fewer than 2,000 words.
- The submission deadline is the same for all countries.
June 7
Preliminary Phase
A panel of judges from China, Chile, Peru, and Brazil will select the winning teams.
Students from Chile, Brazil, and Peru will participate online.
August 15
Final round of the competition in Brazil
6 finalist teams.
August 22
Final round of the competition in Chile
6 finalist teams.
